PETERBOROUGH B2B BUSINESS EXHIBITION 2018 Peterborough’s premier B2B event returns to the Kings Gate Conference Centre on the 31st October 2018.  This event is the longest established B2B in Peterborough.    This event brings together over 500 business people enabling them to build new connections and explore what new products or services exhibitors have to offer to their company. Exhibitors are preparing to put themselves in the spotlight and showcase their products and services. THE PINNACLE POST Issue 8: August 2018 Mental Health First Aid Training Course I have had a request to provide this course on Mental Health First Aid at Pinnacle House. The course will be held on Thursday 27th September & Friday 28th September 2018. This course is internationally recognised with over 2 million people currently trained worldwide. In addition to our own Mental Health Awareness and Managing Mental Health Workshop, we (Mental Health In The Workplace Ltd) are accredited by MHFA England, to deliver their Mental Health First Aid Training course. This two day course combines presentations and current statistical content with group activities and discussions, all built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan and both qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider and equips you with the following: - An in depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect mental wellbeing - Knowledge to enable you to identify the triggers and spot the signs of mental health issues - Increased self-awareness and insight into your own mental health status and challenges - Enhanced interpersonal skills such as active and non-judgemental listening - The confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress - The resources to guide someone to further support If you would like some more information or to book on for the course please come and speak to me or Romaine Have a great month!
