QTLs are indicated as colored or patterned bars to the right of the chromosomes. Orthologous human linkage peaks10 are indicated as asterisks with the cytogenic band indicated. Because of speciation break points, human cytogenetic bands may map to more than one mouse chromosome. The horizontal marks on each chromosome indicate the QTL peaks, and a bifurcation indicates coincident QTL peaks.
