Graduation Requirement Language Arts - 4 credits (English I, English II, English III, and English IV Mathematics - 4 credits to include Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II Social Studies - 3 credits to include Civics/AP Human Geography, U.S. History, World History Science - 3 credits Integrated Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics Health - 1/2 credit Physical Education - 1/2 credit History and appreciation of visual and performing arts (or another arts course which incorporates this content) - 1 credit Must pass civics test
Applying to College Ballard College Fair Oct 16th Apply Before December 1 for individual college’s scholarship. Apply online! If you are on fee waiver see Mrs. Gapen in the South Office for a form. College visits get form from Attendance Office. That will allow you to be counted as present at school. Parchment Use parchment to send transcripts to colleges. Go to: www.parchment.com/register Code is on the paper we will give you when we meet.
Recommendation/Test Scores -Recommendations can be teachers, Assistant Principals, or Counselors. -Give a copy of your resume to the person completing recommendation. -Give plenty of notice. -Request ACT score directly from ACT. -Keep up with your password, ACT will not give it to Counselors. -Fee wavier for ACT are in the North Office with Mrs. Cissell.
