Ever After Film – Follow-Up Task

After viewing the film Ever After (1998), students are required to complete a short, partner based follow-up task. This task involves students analysing the ending of fairytales and contrasting this by creating an alternate ending to the film Ever After.

THE TASK: In pairs, students need to create a PowerPoint presentation which depicts an alternate ending to the film Ever After which students have previously viewed. The presentation should have a number of slides (8-10) which show a different ending to the film. Students must include – on each slide – a couple of sentences showing what is happening in the picture that they have drawn or received from the internet. This task will be submitted for the teacher to view, but it won’t be assessed.

A sample presentation is available from the teacher.
