Supplies

Class Supplies Using classroom supplies is a privilege that can be taken away at anytime if you are misusing them. By showing respect to yourself and each other will help to ensure that you always have the supplies that you need to complete your assignments.

Classroom Behavior Rule Expectation A rule is a mandatory behavior or action that must be followed and if not will result in negative consequences A standard that is set to help me become successful and meet self determined goals.

Class Expectations • Always try and complete your assignments to the best of your ability • If you don’t know something ask • Give your very best and encourage others to do their best • Participate in all class activities and discussions to increase your learning

Class Rules Be on time and in your assigned seat Bring your materials to class everyday Listen when others are talking Raise your hand for permission to speak Work quietly without disturbing others Show respect for your school and personal property

Consequences Steps to a Referral 1. Verbal warning 2. Teacher determined consequence or intervention (Changing seating, personal conversation, second warning, extra class work, loss of privileges, etc.) 3. Call parents 4. DPS points 5. Referral (parents will be notified by teacher and conference will be requested)

How it works . . . If you are choosing not to follow directions you will be verbally reminded what step you are on until step 5. Your steps will also be recorded on the seating chart by the teacher. Your consequences will reset every Monday. If you reach step 5 in a week you will receive a written referral in the database and a parent conference will be requested.

Zero Tolerance Policy There is a zero tolerance policy for cheating and harassing. If you are caught cheating you will receive a zero for that assignment. I expect each student to behave in an appropriate manner and to treat each other with respect inside and outside the classroom. If anyone is caught cheating or harassing another student, principal and parents will be notified. All students are required to follow the code of conduct in the student handbook. Students who do not follow the code of conduct will receive the appropriate disciplinary action as stated in the student handbook.
