Geography Scandinavia is a large region of Northern Europe. Mountains, valleys, fjords, water, and glaciers are landforms found in the region.

Scandinavian Peninsula Sweden and Norway make up this peninsula. The peninsula is a long, narrow stretch of land with a jagged coastline.

Fjords Norway’s coast has many fjords, inlets with steep sides carved by huge glaciers during the Ice Age.

Iceland About 75% of this island country is covered with volcanic lava, glaciers, and mountains.
