Trio Challenge Semester 2

You need to… Have someone on your team get out a sheet of paper Put names at the top Split the sheet into 4 boxes

Team Task #1 Determine which team member has the longest name (first, middle, & last combined). How many words can you make using the letters from this name? Record the words you come up with in box 1.

Shayna Mary Bauman Mash Bam May Sham Nay Bay Yams

Team Task #2 List all of the things that EVERY member of your group has in common in box 2.

Team Task #3 List all of the things that are different about your group members. No two people can share the same response/answer. Write this in box 3.

Team Task #4 Think of a team name, and design a team logo. Put this in box 4.

What are trio challenges? You will be working with these 3 people for third quarter. Each week I will pose a challenge to the class. You will compete in a variety of fun, random, and rigorous tasks to earn points for your team. At the end of the quarter, the team with the most trio challenge points will get their lowest classwork grade dropped. The teams will be scrambled fourth quarter and we will start again.

How do I earn points? Win the weekly challenge Standing offers for Trio Challenge points: I witness a random act of kindness/awesomeness. You snap a real-life grammar crime and submit the shot along with an explanation of how to fix the error. The photo needs to include at least one team member’s face or identifying object. Only errors on professionally printed signage will be awarded points. Sorry, no handwritten grammar crimes accepted.

How do I lose points? Asking for a challenge Telling me about a random act of kindness that you performed (it’s okay to tell me if you saw someone from ANOTHER team do something) Random acts of rudeness
