What is the summer slide? The possibility that you could lose some of the reading achievement you have made this year! How can you prevent the summer slide? Read, read, read! You can read anything you want! The choice is yours!

Set a goal! What do you want your Lexile to be when you come back to school? 6th Grade Range 925L – 1070L 7th Grade Range 970L-1120L 8th Grade Range 1010L-1185L

Summer Reading Activities Make a great first impression next year!! Share one of the books you have read by completing the One-Pager activity and the Tic-Tac-Toe board. Log your reading minutes on Scholastic to earn prizes. Outstanding One-Pagers will be displayed at the beginning of school and all participants will be a part of a Welcome Back Raffle for a gift card during the first week of school!
