Membership Requirements • Must attend: - at least 2 of 3 active meetings (no more than 1 unexcused absences) - Initiation (11/11) • Excused absences will be granted only if you email the Secretary Eleanor Carre (ecarre@purdue.edu) 1 day before the event • Must fulfill 3 hours of community service by: - Tutoring (Re-evaluating for Spring ’19) - Attending any XE Community Service Event - Submitting an Individual Service Hours on Boilerlink
Tutoring • Sign up for all courses you would be comfortable tutoring • Not a commitment to regular tutoring • How it works: XE will get a request for a tutor Tutors will be matched based on the list generated from tonight’s meeting Tutor 3 hours = Semester’s worth of community service!

FE Exam Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination First step to be a licensed Professional Engineer Take the exam your senior year (typically final semester) Each engineering discipline has a varied list of topics Civils don’t have thermo on the exam Takes roughly 6 hours and has 110 questions Exam is taken on the computer Some Awesome Stats National average passing rate for Civil is 71% Purdue has a 92% passing rate!!
