ILT #1 ILT #2 ILT #3 Remember the modules on your flash drive? Animate in emphasis Remember-the next 8 weeks are all focused on theoretical learning-the foundations of teaching skill. While you can skip ahead, the modules do build on each other, so they make more sense if you complete them in order.

This is what you will see when you have completed the module

Respond to the discussion project Weekly Activities Respond to the discussion project Complete the assigned module Complete the assigned module exercises Meet with your peers or mentor to complete exercises and identify any questions Send any questions Here are the activities you will need to complete each week, later we will give you time to make a plan and share it w/ the group. Review the weekly activities schedule

Instructional Planning Worksheet Template Learning Objective Learning Activities Assessment Methods Resources   Highlight this is a tool they will be introduced to early in the TL modules, and will return to it again and again. First they will learn to write instructional objectives like a professional instructional designer, then they will identify appropriate learning activities, then assessment methods and later key resources. Let’s look at a sample

Sample Instructional Planning Worksheet Learning Objective Learning Activities Assessment Methods Resources Given reagents, laboratory equipment and appropriate grade glassware, the learner will prepare and label a reagent according to the steps in the performance checklist. Teacher demonstration of how to prepare a reagent. Students to refer to the steps in the performance checklist during the demonstration. Direct observation using standard operating procedure or checklist. Handout: preparing and labeling reagents Given a range of client case studies, identify the appropriate family planning counseling tasks for the four different types of clients, completing all the tasks on the checklist. Provide handout on different types of counseling clients and related family planning tasks-discuss with the group. In case studies, learners identify appropriate counseling tasks based on different types of clients In a matching exercise, correctly identifies the appropriate family planning counseling tasks for each type of counseling client presented in a case study Handout: Different types of counseling clients Case studies for different types of counseling clients Here is a sample of one that is completed. Point out: -there should be a nice mirror between the objective, the actvitiy, the assessment and the resources
