Our class hit our goal of 165 cans this week! We will continue collecting food until 12/16. Great job on the prayer test this week! Secret Santa shop info: SPX will once again be holding a Secret Santa shop in the PAC room. If you would like your child to choose gifts for family members at this sale, you can send money in the budget envelope provided and we will help them shop and wrap here. Christmas Program info: Students should come to school on 12/15 wearing their outfit for the Christmas show: a brown or tan shirt and dress pants/skirt. Headbands with camel ears will be given to the children to wear at school. If your child is a special character, your child can wear his or her gym uniform and a costume will be given to him or her here (unless other arrangements have been made for you to send one from home). We are really starting to work on memorizing the math facts in class! If your child has not been practicing with XtraMath at home, now is a great time to start!  On January 30th the Home and School will be sponsoring a Family Dance. It will be a 60’s theme! Mark your calendar for dancing and fun! For Advent we have been learning about the people that were waiting for Jesus and adding their ornaments to our Jesse Tree. We are also learning the many names for Jesus. Students should have hung an Advent Calendar up at home this week that has ideas and ways to help prepare for Jesus’ birth!
