What is communism? Controlled by government Everyone is equal No freedom No private property A totalitarian government that control production Free health care No private property No freedom of speech, movement, and religion

Marxism 1880’s France Leninism 1930’s Soviet Union Marxism/Lenism Marxism 1880’s France Leninism 1930’s Soviet Union Marxism was created by Karl Marx in the 1880’s, and Leninism was created by Vladimir Lenin. Marxism was in France, and Leninism was in the Soviet Union. Both Marx and Lenin were communist. Marxism and Leninism are the political and economic theories to create communism.

America fears communism America fights back America feared communism because they thought it would spread all around the world and even to the United States. The effect was because they feared communism would spread, they waged war against communism. For example their was an outbreak of the Korean war, Vietnam war, and Cold war.
