We have been working to cultivate partnerships among the state programs and federal agency partners, including Missouri Enterprise, Department of Economic Development, Industrial Assessment Center, USDA, and we are already aligned with the Small Business Administration and EPA. Two meetings have been held where agreement was reached that E3 was worth pursuing but no focus for the wrap around services has been identified. The EAC is looking closely at the automotive supply chain and the food producers in Missouri. The next planning meeting is scheduled for February 19, 2014. The course introduces concepts and methods for full cost accounting, process analysis, P2 and waste audits, assessments of various energy systems, water and stormwater, and greenhouse gas calculation. The majority of students report taking the course because they are interested in a career related to sustainable business operations or management.
