Expectations In the Classroom What does Mrs. V. Murphy expect of me in class? Do I need to ask to use the restroom?

Preparation Be in your seat ready for class when the bell rings. Bring all necessary materials- science notebook, any handouts and a pencil/writing utensil. Check the daily agenda and homework. Complete all homework before class.

Responsible Stay on Task Complete assignments in a timely manner What Responsible looks like in the classroom: Stay on Task Complete assignments in a timely manner Assist others who need a helping hand Do not leave the classroom until Mrs. Murphy dismisses (orderly transitions)

What does staying on task LOOK like? Immediately pick up your warm-up journal and take your seat when entering the classroom. Check the daily agenda, and begin the class warm-up. Raise your hand when you have a comment, otherwise there is no talking.
