This Week’s Vocabulary Mrs. Pace’s Weekly News Week of March 6-10 What We’re Learning Reading: Story- A Whistle for Willie Grammar: Categories Word Study: Long u sound (u consonant e) Math:Unit 5- Place Value-test Friday Science:Plants Important Dates Mar. 14th- Song and Dance Festival   Mar. 15th- Spring Pictures Mar. 17th- School Holiday Mar. 24th- Field Trip Mar. 28th- Champion Night Mar. 31st- Acknowledgement Party Our trip is Friday, March 14th. Please free to meet us at the theatre and enjoy the show at 11:00. There is no charge for attending the show. If you choose to come to the restaurant you will not be able to sit with your child, but you may dine separately in the restaurant. This Week’s Vocabulary accent- say words in a way that a certain group of people say them behave-when a person follows the rules gooey- something sticky siesta- an afternoon nap sizzling- something that is very very hot translated- someone puts words into another language

Please send in any used ink cartridges you may have. Our school earns money for them and our class can win points for our Space team. Please sign and return this section of the newsletter.
