Teacher Goals Hold High Standards & Expectations Create a Supportive Learning Environment Welcome & Encourage Community and Parent Involvement Accommodate Each Individual Learning Style Put a continual focus on the meaning of the word RESPECT.

Parent and Teacher Communication Important to your child’s success. Telephone – Leave a message with the secretary Send a note with your student E-mail: Diana.mount@vansd.org *this is the best way However, if you need to make a change regarding your student’s transportation or pick-up and I have not emailed you back by 2:00, please speak directly to the secretary.

Important information Emails When I receive a parent email, I try to get to it immediately. Please keep them short – I have very little time during the day to read emails. My responses will tend to be short and to the point, so I can get back to the class. I may just say, “Got it!” If you have a lot to tell me, please set up a time to conference or talk on the phone.
