Presentation transcript:

Investigating theories of Development Teaching your peers about Piaget, Freud & erikson

Goal #1: Review the theory of development You and your group are going to provide an overview/review of the theory of development Create illustrations or a comic of the stages of development Create a song, rap or poem to review the stages of development Act out the stages of development (Careful…this could get inappropriate quickly!)

Goal #2: Add something new Go beyond the textbook and add additional knowledge of the theory for your classmates. Find a video to share Further explore an example from the reading Use one of the school databases or one of the additional resources from my website to find a modern article or new details

Goal #3: Applying the theory to our lives Explain how understanding this theory could impact our lives? Why should we care? Think about the future, and our future responsibilities, how might this information impact our behaviors? What would you like to share with others (parents, coaches, peers, teachers) about what you have learned?
