compare to notice or study similarities and differences between objects, beings, and events Synonyms: analyze, collate, contrast, distinguish, consider,

describe to tell or write so that a person can “see” or visualize in their minds to tell about using words Synonyms: relate, depict, narrate, recite, picture Antonyms: confound, mystify

infer to draw conclusions, interpret, and try to explain observations; read between the lines to conclude or decide from evidence at hand Synonyms: presume, gather, conclude, deduce
