Lab Safety: Everyone is Responsible! Safety First Science is a hands-on laboratory class. Safety in the classroom is our #1 priority. All rules must be followed at all times. A signed lab safety contract is required to participate in labs. – due ASAP, by Aug 18th Lab Safety: Everyone is Responsible!
General Safety Guidelines Follow all instructions carefully Do not play with lab equipment until instructed to do so. Keep the science room clean and organized. Notify the teacher immediately of any accidents or unsafe conditions in the science classroom! Be Responsible at all times. No horseplay, practical jokes, pranks, etc. Lab Safety: Everyone is Responsible!
General Safety Guidelines No eating or drinking in lab unless directed otherwise. Be careful with hot items Be sure to WAFT not WHIFF Be neat and organized Keep your work area clean. Secure long hair or loose clothing. Protect your eyes: Wear safety goggles when required Lab Safety: Everyone is Responsible!
