Poems First published set of poems in 1838. Publishes “Songs of Labor” – 1840 Publishes “Home Ballads” – 1860 Publishes “Snow Bound”, his masterpiece, in 1866 Publishes many more poems

Death Dies on December 7, 1892 at Hampton Falls, New Hampshire. Buried on family plot at Amesbury.
