We will do a unit on forest animals, a unit on snow and winter weather, and we will talk about Antarctica and the North and South Poles. We will also review our letters/ letter sounds and counting skills. Things to do with your child at home: Work on tracing/writing name Count from 0-20 and recognize numbers 0-10 Practice saying ABC’s and recognize all 26 letters Practice writing letters Important Dates: 1st – New Year’s Day 15th – Duck Tape Day 18th – MLK Jr. Day (NO SCHOOL) 19TH – Teacher Planning Day (NO SCHOOL) 29th – Fantastic Friday (Perfect Attendance) Reminders We are running low on snacks; any donations would be greatly appreciated! We get ice cream on Thursday afternoons. They cost 50 cents a piece. Don’t forget to wash your child’s blanket over the weekend and send it back with your child on Monday.
