کسب و کار اينترنتي چيست؟ کسب و کار اينترنتي به خريد فروش محصولات يا خدمات در اينترنت که منجر به کسب درآمد شود، گفته مي‌شود. يک سايت اينترنتي، تنها براي فروش محصول يا خدمات به کار نمي‌رود، بلکه مي‌تواند نقش‌ها و کارکردهاي مختلفي داشته باشد. اگر محصول خاص و منحصر به فردي داريد که در ديگر نقاط دنيا وجود ندارد، مي‌توانيد با معرفي آن محصول در سايت خود، ديگران را از وجود آن مطلع کنيد و از اين طريق به اهداف خود دست يابيد.

تفاوت كسب و كار اينترنتي با تجارت الكترونيك E-Business به مجموعه فعاليت‌هاي مربوط به كسب و كار از جمله مباحث بازاريابي، مالي، خريد و فروش، ارتباط با مشتريان، خدمات پس از فروش، همكاري با سرمايه‌گذاران و... كه از طريق شبكه‌ي اينترنت انجام مي‌گيرد، اطلاق مي‌شود؛ در حالي‌كه E-Commerce تنها شامل مسايل مربوط به خريد و فروش از طريق اينترنت مي باشد و خود، زيرمجموعه‌اي از E-Business است.
