The key to powerful service! Spirituality: The key to powerful service!

Questions Are your members willing to take risks for God? Are they stepping out in faith? How can we ensure that our courts are vital and productive?

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” John 15:4 It’s about relationship.

Prayer is the key to building that relationship with God.

Personal Enrichment Spending time in prayer and worship doesn’t change God; it changes us. We need to engage in all types of prayer: Adoration Contrition Thanksgiving Supplication

Psalm 50:14 “Offer praise as your sacrifice to God; Fulfill your vows to the Most High. Then call on me in your time of distress; I will rescue you, and you shall honor me.”

Prayer Helps us to do what we were created to do: To Know To Love To Serve Is what sets CDA apart from other organizations.

Prayer impacts personal service. Reluctance to serve comes from forgetting who we are and why we do what we do. Who are we? Prayer helps us remember.

Why courts members pray We pray to find out Where the Lord wants us to serve. Where He wants the court to serve—and when. The gifts and talents of the members of the court. God will reveal if we ask.

What you must know: The Lord answers prayer. Keep your ears and eyes open. Listen for the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Set goals prayerfully. Choose projects that support your goals. Do your research. Fundraise to support your goals. Recognize that fundraising is a holy.

Foster Unity Pray for each other. Check on each other.

Creating a Culture of Prayer
