Finding Our Starting Point Honest self-examination 2 Cor. 13:5 How can we know if we are “in the faith”? How can we know if “Christ is in us”? What is the fuel for our zeal? What is necessary to have the proper zeal?

Finding Our Starting Point What must be present before honest self-examination? Lk. 5:1-11 Does God want just “functional” Christians? We must first be stripped down to our must humble state.

Finding Our Starting Point What happens when we humble ourselves? Lk. 5:10 Jas. 4:6-10 1 Pet. 5:5-7 How do we develop the humility that leads to proper self-examination? 1 Cor. 6:9-11 Lk. 17:7-10
