Profession of Faith The Apostles’ Creed

Prayer of Confession Almighty God, You have raised Jesus from death to life and crowned Him Lord of all. We confess our tendency to overtake His authority; we want to control our lives and constantly pursue the means to do so.

Our lives are anxious because we fear not getting the things we most desire. We do not do to others as we would have them do to us; our altars of self-ambition are covered with broken relationships.

Loving Father, through the blood of Your Son reconcile us to Yourself and to one another. Teach us how to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that You will add to us everything we need.
