Sketch your favourite building using the post – it not provided In-class Exercise: Sketch your favourite building using the post – it not provided Capture the shape and proportion of the building Draw the lines that best represent the building. Make sure that you show the dark and light areas of the picture you are copying Label the sketch Place the name of the building It’s location The date it was built Your initials As a class, each student should add an element of design on the foam board using the drawing tools provided Add a class name Place your sketches on the board in chronological order based on the dates the buildings were constructed number across the board each sketch as 1 2 3 4 5 6 7. Repeat the sequence The number assigned to your sketch will be the corresponding video number you need to watch in preparation for our next class (download “Prehistory to First Civilization Architecture” PPT
