An overview of the 2013 Census August 19, 2013 RWJF Community Health Leaders

2 Community Health Leaders Biennial Census – A Snapshot The 2013 Census of the RWJF Community Health Leaders (CHL) is a snapshot of key characteristics and opinions of the diverse recipients of the CHL Award. Since 1993 the CHL Award has been presented to 206 individuals. The census was conducted via mail and the online survey monkey. One hundred fifty-one (151) or 73% of the leaders responded to the 11 questions. 72% of the respondents report they continue to be associated with the same work they were doing at the time they received the CHL Award. 86% report an affiliation with a health related organization. 46% respondents are CEOs or executive directors. 48% reported honors and recognitions received in 2012.
