Direct and Inverse variation Objective: to be able to set up, solve and differentiate between direct and inverse variation

Variation Direct Multiplication of constant and x x and y are directly proportional and k is the constant of variation Linear with y-intercept of 0 y=kx Inverse (Indirect) division of constant and x as x gets larger y gets smaller x and y are inversely proportional and k is the constant of variation y=k/x
