Presentation transcript:

Warm Up Tuesday, February 6th Copy these thesis statements (leave two lines under each). Then, label each as either expository, argumentative, or analytical: Lower gas prices are good because they promote more driving, and this is good for the economy. While people might like saving gas money, some governments rely on money for gas sales and are now suffering. Because of a lot of things, gas prices have recently fallen a lot. In the two lines you left underneath each one, revise and improve (for word choice/grammar/mechanics/syntax) each of these thesis statements.

Learning Targets: To narrow down/refine your research topic and/or thesis statement. To create, using NoodleTools, at least three “notecards” for some sources that you already found toward your research project. To use any remaining time to find more sources for your research (use the research questions/keywords that you created yesterday to guide your research).

Assignment – NoodleTools Notecards Go to Google Classroom and check out the .pdf file called “Easy Bib Notecards.” Even though NoodleTools is slightly different from Easy Bib, this diagram is still a useful tool.

Homework SRP Homework II by Thursday, 2/8.
