Reading: short story compare and contrast; stories by Jan Brett; understanding setting, plot, character studies and theme. It was a great first week of school after returning from the holidays! In no time the kids quickly jumped right back into their regular routines and never skipped a beat! As a reward for their hard work last week, they were treated to a surprise popcorn and juice party this afternoon! The looks on their faces were priceless and the amount of hugs that I received in appreciation was heartwarming! They worked hard and certainly deserved this small token of my appreciation! Way to go kiddos and keep up the hard work! Who knows what fun surprises Ms. Wilton may have in store for you! Classroom Supplies Needed! Each student will need to bring a new wide ruled spiral notebook for our daily word practice (we have almost completely filled up our first notebook – WOW!)
