Growing student leaders… ABC is very fortunate to implement activities designed by the students in the intermediate school Grade 5 – thankful activity (November) Grade 4 – valentine’s activity (February) Grade 3 – easter/spring activity (March)

ABC gives back… Each year we choose a charity or charities to give back to. This year we have joined forces with the Leukemia and lymphoma society in the pennies for patients campaign. Their slogan is “EVERY HERO NEEDS A SQUAD”… WE ARE PROUD TO BE PART OF THeir SQUAD. WE WILL BE COLLECTING SPARE CHANGE THROUGH MARCH.

SPARE CHANGE DONATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED BUT NOT REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE. ABC HOSTS PAJAMA DAYS, HAT DAYS AND SPIRIT WEEKS TO PROMOTE DONATIONS. THE HOMEROOM THAT COLLECTS THE MOST MONEY IN EACH GRADE LEVEL WILL WIN A PIZZA PARTY.

HOLIDAY FOLLIES… THE DAY BEFORE HOLIDAY BREAK, ABC HOSTS A FUN TEAM BUILDING COMPETITION. THIS EVENT IS A SERIES OF MINUTE TO WIN IT TYPE GAMES THAT FEATURES A 6TH GRADE TEAM, A 7TH GRADE TEAM, AN 8TH GRADE TEAM AND A FACULTY TEAM. Faculty and students participate in a spirit week leading up to the big day (pajama day, holiday apparel day, holiday hat day, etc…)
