Review So far we have discussed: How are these concepts connected? 6 step decision making model Milestones and ups/downs of life (and emotions related to them) 6 strategies to transition successfully How are these concepts connected?

Reminder: 6 strategies to transitioning successfully 1- Transitions are hard because they shake your sense of identity (remember: that’s ok) 2- Transitions allow for growth 3- Remind yourself that the change may be a CHOICE (for example, to meet a goal)

4- focus on other times you transitioned successfully (you can do it again!) 5- remember that while in transition, you can become overly focused on yourself. Reach out to others. 6- Get a support system From Dr. Shannon Kolakowski, “How to Make the Most of your Life’s Transitions,” Huffington Post
