Pepperpot MkII assembly FETS meeting 27th March 2007 Pepperpot MkII assembly by P. Savage

Pepperpot MkII Development Cooled feed through rod. The linear shift mechanism (LSML) from UHVDesign mounted to the main flange. Adjustable camera mount.

Pepperpot MkII Development The assembled grid head mounted to the cooled rod.

Pepperpot MkII Development Close up of the assembled grid head showing the quartz plate.

Pepperpot MkII Development (2) (1) (3) The assembled pepperpot device will be delivered to RAL on Thursday 29th March 2007. We are waiting for the manufacture of the parts shown above. These are: Camera to bellows recessed flange Standard camera plate Extended camera plate It is hoped that they will be delivered before Easter. They will not necessarily prevent the setup and use of the device.
