Life Cycles 2nd Grade Science

Standard: Understand the life cycles of animals and various organisms. Understand that basic structures in plants and animals serve a function. Describe the life cycles of various insects.

Objective Students will be able to demonstrate the four stages of the butterfly life cycle by finishing the four activities.

Activity 1 (Reading)

Activity 2 (listening & speaking) Draw a butterfly life cycle with a friend. Present what you drew.

Activity 3 (understanding) Put the life cycle stages in order and glue them on the butterfly wings. Concept understanding check.
