Discussion Why is a dream team the best option according to Erik? During the discussion the attendees are the director of the discussion, raise your hand to ask additional questions so that we can find out as much as possible about what erik is doing and why he thinks that this is the best option for excited, motivated students. How should a University cope with these projects? Financially, should they support it completely? Should a University assign credits for being part of a dream-team? The involvement of private sector organisations in the projects, could this form any conflict of interest? How do you overcome inequality among students who are part of a team and who are not? What is the right selection of students? Why are dream-teams currently mainly created in the technological sector, could the concept be transferred to social sciences? How?

Brainstorm-session What could/should be the guidance of a University for a dream-team? Is a dream-team created organically by a group of students or can a University map out societal dilemma’s and technological innovations which need to be tackled by the ‘new’ generation? How can students who are not part of a dream-team benefit from its existence? Is public-financed higher education meant for these mostly private-sector initiated competitions?
