Important Information Mrs. Ruff Resource Room Week:3/5/18 4th Math We will be finishing up chapter 8. This chapter is all about multiplying factions! While students are doing a nice job on multiplying fractions, understanding word problems is difficult. Please practice the word problems on the homework with you child! Please remember to continue working on your facts as that they are vital for 4th grade success. Kindergarten Language Arts This week we will work on writing lowercase letters and start blending unknown words. Also we will start trying to spelling short i words. We will focus on the letter x this week. We will also practice writing sentences. Math We will continue to work through our math books. Also we will continue our work with touch math. 4th Language Arts This week we will continue to work with lesson 14 in Journeys. This week, we will be reading about living things and their important role to our world. We will be reading a passage called Busy Bees and Homegrown. We will practice answering comprehension questions and work on spelling words with –y at the end. On Friday, we will have a spelling, grammar and writing assessment. Tic Tac Toe spelling is due Friday.
