What are they? Opportunity to give students multiple ways of processing information and rehearsing content & skills. May work alone or with partners Choose topic and method of presenting

EXAMPLE – “The Killers Project” Research a poisonous/toxic organism. Each student signs up to join a group to work on an area of interest. There are more “choice lines” than students so everyone gets the chance to select a favorite area. Today’s organism: Atropa belladonna (deadly nightshade) REPRODUCTION ________________ CLASSIFICATION BODY PLAN SYMPTOMS HABITAT POISON TYPE
