Mortelecque from the beginning 1803 Opening of the first sugar plant in France under the reign of Napoléon. Market is booming. 1830 Birth of MORTELECQUE « SARL » (LLC) by Antoine Mortelecque. First commercial exchanges with liquid filtration cloths made of coton, linen, hemp type of products : cloths for sugar plants ; cloths for oil manufacturing; cloths for soap factories; etc… 1950 Mortelecque becomes an « SA » (limited company) Arrival of synthetic fibres on the market (mainly Polyester and Nylon) 1970 Mortelecque starts using needlefelts on a regularly basis in process filtration thanks to a strong partnership with BWF. 1990 Launch on the market of Mortelecque ventilation socks. 1995 Launch of Mortelecque Services 2010 Mortelecque, major actor in process and environmental filtration: Our company celebrates its 180th birthday.
