What is AP? Advanced Placement This is a college level course I offer tutoring/help and time for make-ups on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s during lunches!! Chance for college credit in May by passing the AP exam!

What is the AP exam? Two-part exam scored on a five-point scale 75 Multiple Choice Questions 60 minutes Part 2: Three FRQs (Free Response Questions) aka essay’s 75 minutes Pass Score 3, 4, or 5 to receive college credit Fail Score 1 or 2 does not receive college credit

What if my child fails the AP exam? They will not receive any college credit for this course It will show on high school transcripts Your child must pass this class (not the AP exam) to receive graduation credit

What can you do to help? 1. Stay on top of their grades and communicate with me! 2. Talk to your child about current events and ask them their opinions. 3. Suggested Materials: Test Prep Books- 5 Steps to a 5 Barron’s 4. Help them stay organized and on top of their work.
