Welcome to the world of magnets. What’s a magnet? Write the definition of a magnet.

Find the magnets in our classroom. Do you see magnets in the classroom? Write about the magnets that you see.

Look at the pictures above Look at the pictures above. You just found these things at the very bottom of a box. You can’t reach the bottom of the box, but you have a magnet. Which things could you pick up with a magnet? Move the pictures to see which things are attracted to magnets and which are not attracted to magnets. Sort the pictures into two categories. Name the categories. Delete the happy and sad dogs. If you have time, add your own pictures.
