Labor movements in the 1920’s

Labor unrest in the US continued in the 1920’s Little about working conditions had changed during the progressive era, but labor activists continued to struggle for reform Groups from tailors to the Boston Police Department went on strike The success of unions was still limited Most business refused to negotiate with them Government took the side of business Unions remained divided Fear of communism and immigrants led to distrust of unions
