USMC Logistics Command (LOGCOM) has completed the acquisition planning process for the Marine Corps Logistics Services (MCLOGS) Contract. Formal Acquisition Strategy was approved on 14 Jan 2010. LOGCOM envisions initiating Pre-solicitation contract actions for awarding potentially three suites of multiple award contracts for logistical labor support. Anticipated awards to include: An 8(a) SB set aside suite of 3-5 contracts for Task Area (TA) 3 for IT Daily Operations; A SB suite of 3-5 contracts for TA 2 for Quality Assurance & TA 8 for Support to LOGCOM Centers plus requirements estimated at < $100,000.00 in all TA’s except TA 3; An Unrestricted suite of 3-5 contracts covering the full range of logistical services except TA’s 2, 3, & 8 requirements > $100,000.00 that are in the above Restricted SB 8(a) and Restricted SB Suites. Draft solicitations are anticipated to be issued later this spring. SB desiring to be part of the Unrestricted Suite are advised to prepare offers in both Suites for evaluation purposes.
