Multiple Payments with Debit/Credit Card Welcome to the presentation on paying with multiple payment types in one envelope.

Up to 5 payment methods can be used in one envelope Up to 5 payment methods can be used in one envelope. Populate all the amounts and methods being used to pay for the product before saving on the Payment window. In this example, the customer will be paying with both a debit and a credit card.

On the PIN Pad authorization window, the top payment will automatically highlight. Inform the customer of the amount for this part of the transaction so they swipe the correct card. In this case the customer would be told that we will be processing the amount of $10.50 first. Select Submit.

The bottom left of the PIN Pad authorization window is telling the processor what the customer is being prompted to do on the PIN Pad device. In this case, it is prompting the customer to swipe their card.

Customer then chooses credit or debit.

In this case, the customer chose debit, so the PIN Pad device is waiting for the customer to enter their PIN.

The Fee Notice window is letting the customer know that there is a 50 cent transaction fee that will be charged. The customer must choose OK in order to proceed. If the customer chooses cancel here, the PIN Pad Authorization window will refresh back to Pending.

Next is the window where the customer acknowledges the total amount being charged to their card. They must choose Yes to continue. If they choose no, the PIN Pad Authorization window will default back to Pending. See additional Training on what to do if the customer no longer wants to pay with a debit or credit card.

The customer has Oked the amount being charged to their card and the DMV system is waiting for an approval.

The screens will follow along the way they did in the credit card transaction presentation. Once the customer has signed and oked their signature, both the payments on the PIN Pad authorization window have been approved.

An account is created for each of the cards that the customer used to pay for this product. Close this window.

The envelope has now completed The envelope has now completed. Because this transaction was a REN, the only thing that will print is the C of R. If the customer needs a receipt that shows all payment methods, print the fee receipt off of the financial window.
