Pressure Actuated Valve Test Design Objective Integrate an active control element into a basic microfluidic design Utilize preexisting packaging as a template for the design Concept of Design Gas lines under thin flexible PDMS layers At initial pressure, flow is blocked by small gate Removal of gas causes flexing down of PDMS Opens line for fluid flow under gate Add valve figure 11.25.03

Pressure Actuated Valve Test Design Device Logic Based on Stage 2 Design Uses T-section to test if directional flow can be obtained Additional line with two gates across top layer show if gates are a source of leakage or backflow Bryce figure for reference 11.25.03
