History 2001, NAGSP changed its name to GPUS. In 2012, Jill Stein had the most votes for a woman. The green party has run a national ticket in every presidential election since 1996 Candidates typically don’t use nearly as much funding as other parties do, such as Jill Stein.

Immigration Don’t blame immigrants. Undocumented immigrants should be granted a legal status which includes the chance to become US citizens with minimal processing fees. (July 2008) Our neighbor to the South needs more attention. (July 2012) We oppose those who seek us for political gain by raising ethnic and racial hatreds, blaming immigrants for economical problems.

Abortion To include contraception in all Health Insurance coverage. (July 2012) To cover abortion under the national health care system. (June 2000)

Guns To extend background checks on all person(s) trying to purchase a gun or other concealed weapons. Teamed with the “Brady Bill’, which is the provision of the United States Federal Law that requires a waiting period for handgun purchases and background checks. (June 2000) To restrict the police’s use on Concealed/Control weapons. (July 2008)

Why there logo is what it is Their logo is very reflective of the aim, with a green on green color scheme. A planet is shown blooming within a flower, giving the idea of birth and growth while incorporating the Earth, all common graphic designs used in environmentalism
