Dipyrrinone Binding Studies in CDCl3 Pyrrole Amides and Their Use as Building Blocks for the Preparation of Anion Receptors Michael T. Huggins We have successfully developed a versatile method for the preparation of a wide array of pyrrole amides using the synthetic scheme shown. In addition, control binding studies on an unsubstituted dipyrrinone analogs have been conducted. Additional derivatives will be prepared and studied for the effectiveness at binding various anionic guests.
