Operating Systems for Quantum Computing By Spencer Cheng

Review of Classical Hardware CPU Fan Ram Batteries The bar covering the CPU connects the fan to it, so that it can cool the processor as it heats up

Quantum Computer The Dilution Refrigerator Stages of the computer Quantum Processor located at the bottom

CPU vs Quantum Processor Data flows through the gates on a regular computer processor, gates such as and,or,xor In a Quantum Computer, the data is on the chip meaning the quantum information is drawn in the chip. The regular way it processes is opposite of a regular computer. Pulses get sent to the data to manipulate it rather than data flowing through the circuit.
