Exploring Time to One Minute

We use a clock to tell time We use a clock to tell time. Today we are going to learn about telling time to the minute.

A clock has three hands. It has a minute hand an hour hand and a second hand.

The minute hand is the one in red. It is longer. The hour hand is the one in blue. It is shorter.

How do we write time? When we write time we first write the hour. We then put a colon and the minutes. 3:01
