Homelessness in Tulsa 26% of Tulsa population is homeless or at risk of becoming so (150,000 people) Only 1 homeless shelter open 24/7 Cost of leaving people homeless is greater than cost of housing them 14 schools closed in Tulsa in the past few years Vacant buildings : decrease neighborhood value, target for vandalism, increases crime, drug activity
