Justice Sonya Sotamayor She was appointed by President Obama in 2009 to replace Justice David Souter who retired.

Justice Elena Kagan She was nominated by President Obama, and confirmed by the Senate on August 7, 2010. She became the 112th Justice and the 4th woman to serve on the Supreme Court.
